Ottawa Public Library - Grade One

Grade 1 students at York Street visit the Rideau branch of the Ottawa Public Library once a month to explore the world of books and reading. During these visits, they learn about the library's services, listen to engaging stories, and have the chance to browse through a variety of books. In addition, they discover the importance of using the library space respectfully and appropriately. These regular visits help foster a love for reading and books, encouraging the students to build lifelong learning habits.
