This term, our Grade 3 students have been making a splash with the Swim to Survive program! This essential program, provided by the Lifesaving Society, teaches vital water safety skills. Students have been learning how to roll into deep water, tread water for one minute, and swim 50 meters. These skills are crucial for staying safe around any body of water. The program emphasizes that these are survival skills, not just swimming lessons, and could make a life-saving difference in an unexpected water emergency. Our grade 3's have shown great enthusiasm and are gaining confidence in the water.
