On Tuesday, May 20, Ms. Shelly's Grade 2/3 class had an exciting visit from the University of Ottawa's Let's Talk Science Team! The students learned about the effects of oil spills on animals and marine life and how these creatures are rescued and cared for during such environmental disasters. It was a fun, hands-on session that gave the class a deeper understanding of science and the importance of protecting our planet.
