The Grade 2 and 3 students had another amazing morning of science with the University of Ottawa's "Let's Talk Science" team.

• We explored the fascinating world of flowers, learning about the different parts of a flower and their functions.
• We discovered why flowers have colourful petals and how these vibrant colours attract pollinators.
• We discussed the ideal conditions needed to grow various types of plants, making it a perfect addition to our Life Systems Unit.

It was a truly hands-on and interactive learning experience that sparked curiosity and excitement in our students!
