During our recent field trip, the kindergarten children visited the Gary J Armstrong Retirement Home. Our journey began with a pleasant walk to the destination, accompanied by seven parent volunteers who generously offered their assistance.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Patty, who facilitated an engaging session with the children and the seniors. The children delighted in singing and dancing, and they enjoyed playing games such as hide and seek. Patty also thrilled everyone with some amazing tricks and even performed a few magic tricks, much to the children's delight.

After the activities, everyone enjoyed refreshing juice boxes, which provided a nice break before we embarked on our return walk. Upon arrival, we gathered together for a group picture on the steps of the school, to capture the wonderful memories we made.

Overall, the field trip was a delightful experience, fostering interaction between the children and the senior residents, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
