The students of York Street Public School were fortunate to welcome William Komaksiutiksak from Northern Knowledge on Wednesday, May 14. William, along with his wife, introduced the students to a variety of traditional Inuit games, a lively chant, and even shared his unique Inuit hip hop music. The experience was both educational and fun with the students thoroughly enjoying the music and the interactive activities. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to learn about Inuit culture in an engaging and memorable way.
